WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this
product in pre-ruminating cattle. Do not
use in calves to be processed for veal. CAUTION: The safety of Lasalocid in unapproved species has not been established;
do not allow horses or other equines access to Lasalocid
as ingestion may be fatal; feeding undiluted, mixing errors or inadequate
mixing (recirculation or agitation of liquid supplements) resulting in
excessive concentrations of Lasalocid could be fatal
to cattle.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Thoroughly mix 300 lbs of Beef Builder 6% Mineral B1440, with
1700 lbs non-medicated grain (2.4 oz with 13.6 oz grain). Do not feed this mineral free choice.
For increased rate of weight gain: Feed cattle 1 lb of this mix/head/day to
provide 108 mg of lasalocid/animal/day. Feed continuously at a rate to provide no
less than 60 mg nor more than 200 mg of lasalocid/head/day (0.56 to 1.85 lbs mixed
ration/animal/day).
For control of coccidiosis: Feed cattle 0.42 lb of the above mix per 100
lb body weight continuously to provide 1 mg lasalocid
per 2.2 lb of body weight. Maximum
feeding rate of this mixture is 2 lb which will provide adequate lasalocid for 475 lb cattle.
